Problems viewing TIFF
files without saving:
When you are trying to open a map from the CAPS Top 50 Pest Maps file and receive a message window with the options to save or cancel it may be necessary to add an extension that will allow for your computer to recognize the TIFF file extension.
To perform this task you will need to have administrator privileges on your computer and follow these steps:
It should be possible to now open and view TIFF Map Files without saving them first.
The text in the
Matrix is too small or large.
To quickly change the zoom: highlight a cell, column, or row on the page; press the 'Ctrl' button while using the mouse wheel to enlarge (forward roll) or decrease (backward roll)
The hyperlinks do not
work
Open the pest matrix instead of saving it.
There are no NAPPFAST
or final risk map for many pests
Many pests are not climatically driven for others pests there is no biological data that can be used to make the NAPPFAST model. In the case of the latter a climate match map is often made as an alternative if the distribution of the pest is known.
